2 February, 2pm to 5pm
Spend the afternoon soaking in the festive vibes with a lion and dragon dance performance. Try your hand at an ang bao-making workshop and treat yourself to some freshly fried nian gao at the live food station (FREE for HomeTeamNS members, $2 for affiliate members and public). Don’t forget to register early for the workshop to secure your spot!
8 February, from 12.30pm
Join the festivities with an impressive 6-metre-long lohei — a massive toss for abundance and prosperity in the New Year! Enjoy the lively atmosphere with a lion dance performance, get your creative juices flowing with a lantern-painting activity, and collect chocolate coins and ingots from the God of Fortune mascot and bring home some sweet prosperity this Chinese New Year! This free event is a great way for families and friends to celebrate together.
9 February, 12pm-4pm
Immerse yourself in an afternoon of activities, including storytelling, calligraphy writing, a scavenger hunt (happening from 20 January to 9 February), and a magic show. The highlight of the event is a lion dance performance that’s sure to entertain the whole family. Register in advance to receive a special gift during this free celebration!
9 February, from 12pm
Celebrate Chinese arts and culture with a dragon and high pole acrobatic lion dance performance, along with the vibrant beats of traditional drumming. Don’t miss the chance to meet Chai Shen Ye, the God of Fortune, for photos and greetings. This event is open to everyone and completely free! Register in advance to receive a goodie bag worth $8 and make the experience even more memorable.

The streets of Chinatown come alive with dazzling light installations this Lunar New Year. From 8 January to 27 February, New Bridge Road, Eu Tong Sen Street, Upper Cross Street and South Bridge Road glow nightly from 7pm to midnight. Don’t miss the 8-metre-tall “Tree of Fortune,” a stunning centrepiece symbolising abundance, wealth and renewal.
Weekends at Chinatown Chinese New Year 2025 feature lively stage performances, while two festive fair offers plenty of festive shopping and treats. Mark your calendar for 28 January, when a countdown party at the Banda Street Open-Space Carpark caps off the celebrations in spectacular style.
Celebrate the Lunar New Year in grand style at Gardens by the Bay, where visitors can marvel at a dramatic 4.5-metre-tall, 26-metre-long floral sculpture of Madam White Snake, the centrepiece of its Lunar New Year display, Spring Blossoms.
The attraction is also the venue for River Hongbao 2025. This iconic event features over 20 giant lanterns, including the ever-popular God of Fortune at The Meadow, spreading blessings of luck and prosperity.
The fun doesn’t stop there — take a spin on the thrilling Double-Storey Horse Carousel, the only one of its kind in Singapore, or enjoy rides like the Euro Swing. Families can also look forward to classic carnival games at the fun fair.
Food lovers will also be spoilt for choice at the bustling food street, offering everything from local delights like muah chee and char kway teow to international favourites such as Turkish kebabs, Japanese takoyaki, and Korean spicy noodles.
To top it all off, soak in the vibrant atmosphere with cultural performances and special appearances by Mediacorp artistes. River Hongbao 2025 promises a feast for the senses and unforgettable memories for the whole family!
Get ready for a vibrant celebration of colour, creativity, and culture at Chingay 2025. This year’s parade, themed “Joy,” takes place on 7 and 8 February at the F1 Pit Building. Be mesmerised by stunning floats, dazzling costumes, and artistic performances that celebrate the joy of togetherness.
Food takes centre stage with floats, costumes, and installations inspired by the delight of sharing meals and creating cherished memories with loved ones. And, of course, no Chingay Parade is complete without spectacular fireworks lighting up the night sky!
Various Residents’ Committees (RCs), Neighbourhood Committees (NCs), and Residents’ Networks (RNs) island-wide are organising their own Lunar New Year activities. From shopping tours to wholesale outlets — such as Bee Cheng Hiang, Fragrance Foodstuff, Hosen, and Song Fish — to neighbourhood dinner events, these community-led celebrations offer a wonderful way to connect with neighbours and spread festive cheer.

Cooking and baking studio ToTT offers 1-for-1 deals on selected workshops, including a Fortune Cat Pineapple Tart session and a kuih lapis masterclass.
