Paddle Up: Dragon Boat Battle between Home Team Officers

It takes both brute power and coordination to stay ahead, as competitors at the MSD Dragon Boat Battle proved.

More than 110 Home Team NSmen and NSFs showed up for the Most Supportive Division (MSD) Dragon Boat Battle, which was held this August.

Competitors displayed their impressive strength and teamwork in the swimming pool at HomeTeamNS Sembawang, while spirited supporters cheered them on despite the scorching weather.

After a muscle-straining race, ProCom stole top spot, while Police Coast Guard and 1st Division were placed 1st and 2nd runners-up respectively. Guest of honour LTC (NS) Sim Meng San, Chairman of Sembawang Executive Committee and HomeTeamNS Management Committee member, presented the prizes to the winners.

As with all MSD events, family members were warmly welcomed with a line-up of exciting fringe activities. These took place at The Living Space.
