The MSD Guardians Challenge: Lifesavers Edition tested participants’ agility and strength in an intense obstacle course.
In March, the Most Supportive Division’s (MSD) Guardians Challenge: Lifesavers Edition pitted eight teams from SCDF and SPF against one another. They competed in a circuit of six high-intensity interval training workouts, which was a test of the Home Team NSmen’s abilities.
“This challenge pushed us to our limits,” said 22-year-old Mohamed Thameem, a participant from the Protective Security Command (ProCom). “Prior to this, we never knew that we were capable of tasks like flipping tyres. Having our friends cheering us on really spurred us to dig deep and keep going.”
At the end of the day, ProCom emerged champions, while SPF’s J Division and National Service Training Institute were first runners-up and second runners-up respectively.
Prizes were handed out by Minister Teo; COMR Eric Yap, Vice President, HomeTeamNS; and CP Hoong Wee Teck, Vice President, HomeTeamNS.
