President's Message


Dear members,
FY23/24 had been a year of incredible growth, connection, and shared success for us.
As we move forward in this endemic era, our way of life, needs, and aspirations may have changed, but I see a steadfast, stronger, and more connected community within HomeTeamNS.

Our signature and clubhouse events returned in full swing in the year, and we fully operationalised HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir. We also introduced three new exclusive benefits offered by our strategic partners, Singlife, SHEIN, and SGDrivers, which added to our extensive suite of members’ benefits. All these have significantly enhanced the value of our membership.
As a result, we achieved an all-time high member satisfaction rating of 86% in the membership engagement survey conducted in December 2023. It was a 1% increase from the previous year.
84% of our members also shared that they felt proud to be a HomeTeamNS member.
The affirmation heartens us.
It was also a year where we welcomed more members into our family. We reached an inspiring milestone of 267,294 members.

This growth was partly attributed to the successful inaugural Home Team Day campaign, where we honoured the unwavering dedication of the Home Team, working together to keep Singapore safe and secure.
All eligible Home Team officers, National Servicemen (NSmen), and those serving in the Volunteer Special Constabulary (VSC) and Civil Defence Auxiliary Unit (CDAU) were given a complimentary one-year HomeTeamNS membership to mark the celebration by the Ministry of Home Affairs.
HomeTeamNS doubled the benefit and extended the complimentary membership to all eligible officers and NSmen’s family members.
Looking ahead, we are excited to introduce more enhanced benefits in the coming year, which will encourage you to invite more of your buddies and family members to join our vibrant community.
FY23/24 was also a year where we took stock of how we should engage with you, our valuable members. We started our strategic review journey in June 2023, and I am encouraged by the strong support of 4,490 members, NSmen, and staff who participated in this exercise. We have generated excellent outcomes, where four key strategies and 49 initiatives emerged.
These will guide us for the next five years on how we should engage with you, to make you feel more valued and have a stronger sense of belonging with our Home Team family.

Our clubhouses have always been more than just facilities—they are the heart of shared experiences. As physical cohesion activities return, over 40,960 NSmen came through our door this year to participate in cohesion programmes organised for their units to build camaraderie and teamwork.
Our dedication to fostering esprit de corps and camaraderie has not gone unnoticed, reflected in our consistently high quarterly customer satisfaction (CX) score for cohesion programme, averaging an impressive 9.7!

We remain steadfast in our commitment to support our NSmen in their NS journey through our services and offerings. Our fitness initiatives, such as Virtual Fitness Training (VFT) and NSFIT, which were conducted by Fitness Workz, have proven to be immensely popular.
The programmes benefitted a remarkable 31,200 NSmen this year. In our continued effort to serve our NSmen better, we’re also exploring ways to make Fitness Workz gyms more accessible for the Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT), bringing fitness and service closer together.

Embracing the rising shift towards a digital-first Singapore, we have harnessed technology to transform our members’ experience. The HomeTeamNS mobile app continues to evolve and upgrade. It is now the key to unlock all that we offer. Whether it’s discovering member-exclusive deals, redeeming +HPoints earned or booking our highly sought-after East Villa, your experience is now more streamlined and accessible than ever.
Designed to help members get more out of their membership, the HomeTeamNS Rewards+ has significantly increased opportunities for savings. Over 16,514 members have enjoyed enhanced savings, earning more than 3.8 million +HPoints since its introduction.
We’re also moving towards simplifying processes and enhancing the benefits for you. We are excited to share that we have digitalised HomeTeamNS vouchers on the mobile app, making it more secure and convenient for our members.
In FY24/25, you can also look forward to earning +HPoints at tenant outlets across all clubhouses simply by scanning receipts into the mobile app.

At HomeTeamNS, we believe that families are the bedrock of our community.
Family Day 2023
This year, we held our first Family Day since the pandemic at Bird Paradise. We enjoyed a day filled with joy and togetherness with over 3,200 members and their family members.
In June 2023, we partnered with Families for Life as part of the National Family Week (NFW) and organised month-long family-bonding events across all our clubhouses. A kid-friendly go-kart event held at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir was exceptionally well received. It attracted over 3,622 participants across the month. We also hosted one of the NFW anchor events at HomeTeamNS Khatib and welcomed 5,400 participants.
Everyday HERoes 2023
We celebrated the relaunch of Everyday HERoes with a fashion show, in collaboration with SHEIN, a fashion brand and one of our key partners. The Everyday HERoes campaign offers special membership perks to mothers and wives of Home Team NSmen, to celebrate their unwavering support in our NSmen’s National Service journey. The fashion show was a meaningful part of the launch, as it was modelled by Home Team NSmen and their families to spotlight and celebrate the personalities of these extraordinary ladies and the partnership and support system between them and our Home Team NSmen.
With the numerous efforts HomeTeamNS put in to engage the family members of our NSmen, it is with immense pride that I share our family membership took a significant jump in FY23/24 by 26% from 31,293 to 39,671.

Looking Ahead
FY24/25 will also be a momentous year for us as we prepare for our 20th-anniversary celebration in 2025 and work on implementing the key initiatives developed from the strategic review exercise conducted in FY23/24. We hear your feedback and are looking into tailoring initiatives based on your various needs at different life stages.
