OUR STORY
The HomeTeamNS Guardians Symbol recognises and honours past and present HomeTeamNS volunteers who have served or are serving in various HomeTeamNS committees. Made up of two parts coming together to form a “T” in the shape of an upward facing arrow, the symbol represents SPF and SCDF NSmen coming together to uplift HomeTeamNS towards greater success. The symbol, which also denotes unity of purpose, is a source of pride and recognition for HomeTeamNS volunteers. With the mission to ‘Creating A Future Together’, the tagline ‘WeCrAFT’ aims to unite the passion of HomeTeamNS volunteers in creating a bonded future – for all NSmen, by NSmen with HomeTeamNS.

COL (NS) JAHAN DE SILVA

Chairman, Information Technology Committee
COL (NS) Jahan has been a member of the Management Committee and Chairman of the Information and Technology Committee since 2019. He has displayed exceptional leadership and dedication to transforming HomeTeamNS’s IT infrastructure and network throughout his tenure.
Over the last five years, his strategic oversight was pivotal in operationalising IT for the new generation of HomeTeamNS Clubhouses at Khatib and Bedok Reservoir. Jahan’s hands-on approach, including consistently surveying the ground and working closely with the Staff IT Team during the formative phase, allowed him to proactively identify challenges, provide insightful solutions, plan strategically, and confidently drive critical decisions.
In addition to his IT expertise, Jahan has taken a proactive approach to PDPA compliance by conducting tabletop exercises for HomeTeamNS. These exercises have helped identify potential risk areas and develop mitigation strategies.
For his exemptary contributions to HomeTeamNS, LTC (NS) Jahan has been conferred the Meritorious Platinum Award.

Chairman, Branding & Publicity Committee
As Chairman of the Branding & Publicity Committee, SUPT (NS) Jason Lim has played a pivotal role in elevating HomeTeamNS’s public profile. Under his leadership, the Corporate Communications team achieved outstanding results in media and publicity, consistently surpassing the annual Media Advertising Value (MAV) targets. In FY24/25 alone, his strategic guidance helped the team secure $3.2 million worth of publicity – an impressive milestone in strengthening HomeTeamNS’s brand presence.
Jason has also been a key driver of the ongoing Brand Refresh project, providing expert guidance and strategic direction to ensure its success. As Chair of the Brand Refresh Project Tender Evaluation Committee (TEC), he led the meticulous review and appointment of a suitable agency, shaping the future of HomeTeamNS’s brand identity.
His contributions extend beyond branding and publicity. Jason was actively involved in the Strategic Review Committee in 2023, where he took on the role of moderator for multiple NSmen dialogue sessions. His ability to foster meaningful discussions and navigate complex conversations ensured that key insights were gathered to shape HomeTeamNS’s future direction.
A natural communicator, Jason also stepped up as the emcee for both the 2023 and 2025 HomeTeamNS Awards, bringing warmth and professionalism to these prestigious events.

As Chairman of the HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok Executive Committee, COL (NS) Cheng Chee Wee has played a vital role in shaping the clubhouse’s growth and vibrancy. Since 2021, he has provided invaluable strategic insights, particularly in strengthening the clubhouse’s tenant mix to enhance members’ experiences. His leadership has been instrumental in fostering a dynamic and engaging environment for HomeTeamNS members and their families.
Beyond his strategic contributions, COL (NS) Chee Wee is a steadfast advocate for HomeTeamNS. He actively promotes membership and events within his network, championing the association’s mission to build a strong and connected NS community. Member, Branding & Publicity Committee
As a dedicated member of the Branding & Publicity Committee, Adrian has played an integral role in shaping HomeTeamNS’s media and publicity strategies. WO2 (NS) Lim June Liang has demonstrated exceptional commitment and leadership as a member of the HomeTeamNS Bukit Batok Executive Committee. With his strong financial acumen, he has been an invaluable resource to the team, providing strategic insights that have contributed to the clubhouse’s continued success.
His expertise was particularly instrumental in the renewal of tenancy agreements, where his guidance helped secure a favorable deal with long-time F&B tenant, ensuring continued value for both the clubhouse and its members. Beyond his financial contributions, June Liang is a steadfast advocate for HomeTeamNS, actively promoting membership and events among his peers and fellow NSmen.

As Assistant Treasurer of the HomeTeamNS Management Committee, Ms Kee Mui Hoon plays a vital role in ensuring strong financial governance. A dedicated steward of the organization’s finances, she meticulously reviews and approves payments, serving as a key financial gatekeeper. Her expertise in procurement and corporate governance has been instrumental in upholding transparency and accountability within HomeTeamNS.
