The 20th Anniversary logo, elegantly crafted into the shape of an infinity symbol, symbolizes the association’s unwavering commitment to fostering unity and support among Home Team NSmen and their families.
The loop design serves as a visual narrative of evolution, growth, and continuity, embodying the association’s mission to provide a shared environment where NSmen and their loved ones can connect, engage, and create lasting memories together.
History Highlights
20 Years of Memories and Milestones
HomeTeamNS has achieved countless milestones since our founding, from opening new clubhouses to launching innovative programs. This timeline celebrates the pivotal moments and achievements that have defined our community, reinforcing our commitment to providing a strong, supportive environment for NSmen and their families.
2005
A new era begins! HomeTeamNS is formed from the merger of CDANS and SPANS, uniting 160,000 members across six clubhouses to build a stronger community.
2016-2011
Building on the Legacy! Long-running signature events like REAL® RUN and the Strongman Challenge (now rebranded as Fitness Ironman) continued to engage members and grew in scale and popularity year after year. Highest number of REAL® RUN participants reached 10,000 in 2009!
2012
Expanding horizons! HomeTeamNS introduced the tri-brand HomeTeamNS-PAssion-POSB Debit Card through a partnership with the People’s Association, which enhanced membership value for members.
The bi-monthly magazine was rebranded as Frontline, which won both local and international awards and became a trusted source of information for members.
2013
A game-changer! The first phase of our clubhouse transformation kicks off at Bukit Batok, Balestier, and Chinatown, introducing exciting new family-friendly facilities. Meanwhile, our 9 Functional Committees of dedicated NSmen volunteers take shape.
2015
We celebrated our 10th Anniversary!
A Milestone for Fun! T-Play, our first augmented indoor children’s playground, opened at Bukit Batok, bringing joy to families and young adventurers. It was also a significant addition to our clubhouse facilities.
2017
Climbing to new heights! We launch HomeTeamNS Tampines, our first satellite clubhouse, featuring Singapore’s first Clip ‘n Climb indoor climbing facility—a thrilling experience for all!
2018
Pioneering protection! We become the first member club in Singapore to introduce a Group Personal Accident Plan with AXA, ensuring our Ordinary Members have $30,000 in coverage.
2020
Smart and seamless! We unveil GetKaki, our first functional mobile app, making it easier than ever to book facilities, renew memberships, and unlock exclusive deals. Despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, our first-ever SMART clubhouse—HomeTeamNS Khatib—opens its doors!
2022
Embracing Innovation! A brand new native HomeTeamNS Mobile App was launched! Designed with user-centred features and self-service functionalities, the launch marked an important milestone in HomeTeamNS’ digital transformation journey.
2023
A waterfront haven! We celebrate the official opening of HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir, our second ground-up clubhouse, offering stunning reservoir views and exciting new experiences for our members.
